So.. You changed the IP of your Provisioning Server, did you…

So you have a XenDesktop deployment, and you changed the IP address of your provisioning server.  Now you can’t add machines to your Streamed catalogs, because you are unable to contact the PVS box.  You get “Error expanding node” every time you try.  How do you fix this?

Launch PowerShell.


In the output, look for the old IP address of the PVS server.  The field name will be PvsAddress.  Directly above that field will be Name.  Make a note of the name.

>Set-BrokerCatalog -Name “CatalogName” -PvsAddress “NewPVSServerIP

Viola!  Fixed.
